My Newest Grandchild :)

Well when I got home from work today I found out that I was the "Grandmother" of yet another granddaughter. I was even asked to baby sit so her mother could go out on the town. I love my grandchildren and on any other occassion I would be happy to babysit, but this time I just had to say NO! There is to much to learn from this object lesson :) Isnt technology wonderful, Natalie had to feed her and burp her and change her diaper. She even burped out loud in Seminary to give her a real dose of how embarrassing it is when your baby makes bodily noises in public!

Perks of the Job

Well today was another day of training at Dillards and I found out tonight that I have two departments to chose from. Men's clothing or Kid's shoes? Hmmmm, I know that mens is alot higher sales volume and we do have to hit so many sales to hit our SPH/sales per hour goals. So I need some help deciding? I also found out that Saturday I can basically buy any clothing items for 50% off, no makeup, no jewelery, cologne, or stuff like that. I can shop for a total of one hour and then after 30 days I get my regular 25% off anything i want to buy.

2 down and 8 to go

Well today was day 2 of training. I got to start off in the lingerie department. I learned more about under garments for women today than I thought was possible. I think I am really going to like it, and it might be the fact that they gave us a free BRA!
It was a busy day from 7am till 9:30 pm and when I got home I found out that Rich had a bad and that his wallet was stollen. Credit cards were used, drivers license gone. Why do people have to stoop to that level? Sorry Richard!
I still havent heard from Blake for 3 weeks now. I am guessing he got transferred a couple of weeks ago and just has been extremely busy. I hope I hear from him soon.

It was my first day!

Well tonight was my first night getting trained at Dillards. I think they forgot to relay one important message to me during my interview. That would be that training is EVERY night from 6 to 9 and 6 hours on Saturdays for two weeks. I thought that would be a important part of the interview but she says the store manager often forgets to relay that to the people he interviews. So we are going to give it the old college try and see how it goes for a while. Jeff has alot of traveling these two weeks also and so its a good time to try. And for all of you who I told I would get a 25% discount, I have to wait 30 days. :( During the training we all decided that maybe working at a clothing store could be non-profit career. All the housewares and clothing and makeup and jewelry and grandkids clothes.. I might have to much fun at this :)

My Last Prom

It just hit me 3 days ago! Where have all the years gone? Seems not to long ago I was helping Andrea pick out her first prom dress. 3 girls later I find myself realizing the time has slipped by so quickly that Natalie is heading to her last one. Am I supposed to be looking forward to this?
